The Abilene Housing Authority (AHA) provides Affordable Housing to 1,809 families on the Housing Choice Voucher Program (formerly the Section 8 Program), to 213 families on the Public Housing Program (sites that AHA owns), and to 572 families at Prairie Gardens, Villages at Westlake and Canterbury Crossing AHA's Tax Credit apartment complexes. The AHA services families in 20 counties in West Central Texas.
